Implementation & Integration

How is MIMS Integrated implemented into existing systems?

MIMS Integrated is delivered via FastTrack software Application Programming Interface (API). By utilizing API, the data content and decision support modules can be quickly integrated into the application system. Development and testing time are reduced allowing for fast deployment to the end user.

What systems is MIMS Integrated compatible with?
MIMS Integrated is compatible on Windows, MacOS and Linux-based systems.
How long does the integration process usually take?
Integration can be done quickly, within 2 months of commencing the process.
Would there be a need to do mapping?
Yes, mapping would be required if you are using your own systems’ item master. There will be an initial effort followed by maintenance mapping in the subsequent updates.

How often is the drug information database updated in MIMS Integrated?
MIMS Integrated information is updated on a quarterly basis.
Can MIMS Integrated handle drug allergy checks?
Yes! Other than drug allergy checks, MIMS Integrated can also perform drug duplicate, drug interactions, drug-health, drug-pregnancy, drug-lactation and drug dose checks. Other functionalities are also in the works currently and will be added in future updates.
Does MIMS Integrated include drug images and patient medicine information?
Yes! Other than drug images and patient medicine information, MIMS Integrated can also provide cautionary labels for your solutions.
Where is MIMS Integrated currently available in?
MIMS Integrated is currently available in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, India and the Middle East.

Security & Privacy

Does MIMS Integrated require access to patient data for its integration process?

MIMS Integrated will require certain patient related information to trigger the checks and alerts, e.g. patients’ active medication lists, patients’ allergy records.

How does MIMS Integrated ensure that no patient data is transmitted or stored outside of our local system?

MIMS Integrated exists locally in your systems and there is no need to transmit the patient data outside of your local systems for the checks to function. There is no way for MIMS to also store the patient data elsewhere. So your patient data will remain safe within your local systems.
